About Us

Who we are

Threestrand Consulting was established in 2006 by a not-for-profit professional for not-for-profit professionals. We are committed to serving the common good through grants research and development, marketing, and strategic business planning for not-for-profit and NGO organizations nationwide and internationally. Professionals at Threestrand Consulting have decades of combined experience in nonprofit administration and higher education, resource development and management, and winning awards in excess of $200 million for national and international clients. We understand the time and skill that goes into developing solid strategic and development plans, marketing strategies, and developing award-winning grants, and we continue to assist large, mid-sized, and small organizations and public and private agencies.

As nonprofit administrative professionals and faculty members, we have a unique understanding of the challenges faced by large and small nonprofit organizations, healthcare networks, colleges and universities, and more. We bring our experience and knowledge in both administration and resource acquisition to assist other administrators and development officers to meet – and exceed – your planning and development goals.

Whether you are a veteran of the process or a new start-up, we work with you to help navigate the complex grant world to identify and pursue solid funding opportunities to support the mission and growth of your organization. Located in the heartland, Threestrand Consulting serves organizations nationwide, and internationally, as well.
